Terms and Conditions of Service

  • Buyers will receive an automated confirmation email with access codes and instructions for accessing the training in the Delligatti Associates Learning Center learning management system (LMS). To help ensure delivery of this email, please be sure to add the delligattiassociates.com domain to your safe senders list. Gmail users: please add "[email protected]" as a contact. Buyers purchasing this course on behalf of others (i.e., you are not the participant), will need to provide the access code(s) and instructions to the participant(s).
  • For purchases made by purchase order and invoiced by other means, Delligatti Associates will email a list of access codes along with instructions for learners to redeem them to the client’s point of contact (POC) within one (1) business day of Delligatti Associates receiving payment.
  • Period of service: access codes for this course are valid for six (6) months from the date they are provided to the buyer or client POC, not from when the access code is redeemed. Once a learner redeems an access code, they will have access to the purchased course until the end of the period of service. No extensions will be granted.
  • Access codes for the Generating Custom Reports with VTL and Report Wizard Training Course cannot be traded for access codes for any other Delligatti Associates course or product.
  • Each access code may only be redeemed once by a single named individual. Access codes are non-refundable and non-transferrable once redeemed.
  • Access codes not redeemed prior to the period of service end date will be forfeited. No refunds will be provided for unused access codes.

  • Delligatti Associates retains ownership of our training materials. The Client does not gain joint ownership of these training materials. Delligatti Associates grants paid participants of our training courses the right to use the content provided during training in their daily engineering work. Use of the training materials to provide training to others, either internally or externally, is strictly prohibited.

 

Prerequisite: It is recommended that participants will have already either completed the OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML Training Course, or have one of the four OCSMP certification levels (i.e., the OCSMP Model User, the OCSMP Model Builder–Fundamental, and so on) before taking this course. Some familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler, Magic Cyber Systems Engineer, or similar CATIA/No Magic tools, is helpful, as well. Participants are highly encouraged to first complete the OOSEM Accelerator™ MBSE Methodology Training Course, which introduces both the OOSEM methodology and Cameo Systems Modeler tool mechanics.

This course teaches the fundamentals of generating and customizing reports for Cameo Systems Modeler (CSM), including use of Report Wizard, the report data profile, coding in VTL, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel templates, and various tips and tricks.

Note: Q&A is not included.

 

This course is divided into 35 video training segments across six main modules, which can be viewed from any web-connected computer via our Delligatti Associates Learning Center. Students can view these modules as many times as they like over the course of the subscription period of six months.

 

Participants in this course will learn:

  • How to navigate and use the Report Wizard in Cameo Systems Modeler (and related tools--e.g. Magic Cyber Systems Engineer, and others)
  • How to write, use, and modify code using the Velocity Template Language (VTL) for dynamic content
  • How to create and customize templates in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents, with practice exercises and a tutorial stepping through each exercise with guidance tips and tricks for maintaining and sharing those templates for re-use
  • How to use report helper tools, macros, and arrays, with practical hands-on exercises demonstrating their use in specific report scenarios
